Its not very ofter we get snow here in Portland and less often it sticks anf even less often on Christmas. This year it snowed as we were unwrapping gifts at John's parents house. There is a forrest behind their house and felt as though we were in the woods in a cabin. I'm not one for cold weather but this year I really missed the early snowfalls when the snow is wet and fluffly. Its calming unlike other weather patterns and this time it reminded me of that. Here are some pictures from our abulous holiday and the snowfall.
Hooray for a white Christmas! I love that about being in Utah...you're almost guaranteed a white Christmas. I'm glad you got one too, and I'm even more glad you enjoyed it.
How beautiful! Can you believe that Christmas is over and now it's 2008? I don't think any of us can believe it. Ethan will be one year old before you know it. He's so cute. We have been in California for the last 5 months for Ber's internship and now we're back to the dreadful cold of the Burg until July. And no, I'm not at Beehive, thank goodness. I quit about 2 weeks before Sydney was born. And I don't miss it at all. :) Happy New Year!
mary! i'm so glad to hear from you. brian and i have thought about what you two might be up to. the last thing we knew was that you were pregnant. not so anymore, a little boy! congrats! ethan is so cute, i love his curly brown hair. it was inevitable with you and john being his parents, lucky kid! we miss you guys. i enjoyed looking at your blog. i will be back looking for more later!
as for us we are living just north of seattle in Everett, Washington. so not far from you. when we make it down to portland (we don't have any plans to come, but we have wanted to come down there, that's where we got married so it's special to us) we will have to stop by and visit!
also, you should check out mat & bri's blog http://mcinelly.blogspot.com/ (mat took classes with john at school, and mat was brian's roommate). so if you don't remember him john should. they live just south of seattle, we see them about once a month.
anyways, sorry such a long comment, i should get your email. mine is brianbritni@yahoo.com write me!

That's fun you got snow for Christmas. It looks like Ethan enjoyed seeing it.
